Development background.
SUNRIZE : MECHANITE began as a school project developed by a group of college friends in and around Atlanta. Each from diverse backgrounds and majors, all sharing a love for Mecha and tabletop games. SUNRIZE : MECHANITE at its core is about having a good time with your friends while giant robots do cool stuff. (and the pitfalls of celebrity, technology, and capitalism.)

SUNRIZE : MECHANITE prioritizes evolving, dynamic game states and interactive player strategy. Players must maximize their squad's combat capabilities, identify enemy weaknesses, and adapt to rapidly changing combat situations to complete objectives and win the match!

with a lean, easy to learn rule set. It aims to maintain a fast paced, fun war gaming experience that’s approachable
to new and experienced players alike. That means No Point-Cost System, and no Faction Limitations. in SUNRIZE : MECHANITE, you simply assemble your RIZERS, select their loadout, and you’re set for star-flung skirmishes across distant worlds.
The Interstellar Age.
In the year Y3K, humanity has harnessed the very stars, mega-corporations have taken their hostilities from the marketplace of free ideas, to battlefields across distant worlds. Hostile takeovers span the scope of entire planetary systems, and distant stars are oribited by nothing but corporate war.

Most believe them to be mere machines, but a select few have glimpsed the baffling reality – a biology that defies categorization, a horrifying blend of

. Eerie and unfathomable, the RIZERS are strangers to the conflicts that define humanity in the Interstellar Age, and to the monetary bonds that see them exchanged. Their very existence is an ironic hypocrisy: created only to destroy one another, blissfully unaware of their own loneliness, a concept only challenged by their interactions with those unfortunate enough to pilot them.
